The Rexel RDS2270 departmental Mercury shredder is easy to operate and provides general security with effective 5.8mm strip cutting. Featuring revolutionary Jam Free Technology, this shredder automatically alerts the user when trying to shred too many papers in one go.

It is capable of shredding 22 sheets (80gsm) or 23 sheets (70gsm) of A4 paper at a time and features an easy-to-empty 70-liter pull-out frame (600 sheets). The machine has full diagnostic controls including automatic Start/Stop and bin full detection functions.

This Mercury shredder can also shred staples, paper clips, credit cards, and CD/DVD. It has easy-to-use controls, a backlit control panel, and a low noise induction motor for super quiet running. The Rexel RDS2270 shredder has a 2-year warranty with 20 years on the cutting head.

In the Box

DIN Security Levels

Shredders that destroy paper to Din Level P-2 are suitable for shredding internal documents such as company communications, instructions, travel guidance, notices, and forms.

Manual Feed Slot

Paper is shredded in the normal way by offering it to the entry throat.
